Martin Marietta’s North Columbia Quarry and the SCAA Marketing and Technical Committee hosted a tour for 22 staff members of SCDOT’s Office of Materials and Research. The facility tour highlighted the expansion and recent capital investment in the quarry.

SCDOT staff were particularly interested in the materials produced and where the materials were being shipped. The tour ended with lunch provided by Martin Marietta. SCAA’s Marketing and Technical Committee looks forward to doing additional tours in the future.
