The South Carolina Aggregates Association was proud to participate in the South Carolina FFA Annual State Convention at Clemson University, held at the Greenville Convention Center, where more than 1,000 middle and high school students from across the state gathered to explore future educational and career opportunities.

This outreach effort was made possible through the dedication of volunteers from the SCAA Education Committee, including Chris Riedel of Luck Stone, Jeff Ruddy of Luck Stone, Neal Barber of Heidelberg Materials, and Donna Jo Poulton of Vulcan Materials. Their willingness to share their time, experience, and passion for the industry created meaningful conversations with students and represented the Association exceptionally well.

SCAA welcomes all members to participate in future workforce development and education outreach events. These opportunities are an excellent way to share your expertise, engage with the next generation of professionals, and help strengthen the future of our industry. We sincerely appreciate the commitment of members who volunteer their time to make these events a success.
